Hi guys!  Thought I’d write a quick post about what’s been up with me here on the west coast!

I recently got on skis for the first time in over a decade.  It was awesome!  I loved it!  Going to Whistler you just *have* to ski, it is one of the best in the world!  So it was a great trip.  Amit and I had the slopes practically to ourselves in some cases, and great powder on the second day.  And a nice storm to drive back in. You know, the one you heard about where we all flooded here in Seattle?  Try hydroplaning for 60 miles on the freeway…

Then, after I had a fever during the week (but who wants to hear about that) - the next weekend I turned around and hopped on a plane to Maui.  That’s right, a weekend in Maui.  Went from -20c to +25c in a week.  warm and sunny for a couple of days was excellent.  Came back to the freezing cold just in time for Hanukkah party.

Now its time for more Holiday Parties, and hopefully  some more skiing this year.  So….

This was a great ride thru north central Illinois. We happened upon a “fly in” community that dedicated this crashed plane to the agricultural “crash” of the 1980s which provided the land for their community.

For our first post I wanted to put up a pic of Me & Gail when we were in San Fran for her half marathon in 2005. A great time and she did a great job in the race with one of her better times considering all of the hills and crossing the golden gate bridge!!
